What do you do as Buying assistant?
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about creating structure and taking advantage of opportunities.   

In this role, you will be the right hand of our talented buyers. You ensure that the purchasing process runs smoothly: from creating and updating purchase orders to closely monitoring stocks and delivery times. You maintain an overview, think ahead and ensure that bottlenecks are identified and resolved in a timely manner. You are also responsible for contact with suppliers, confirming shipments, coordinating delays and making sure everyone is on the same page. 

You also enter product data - think of articles, prices and descriptions - and make sure that our systems are always up to date. You monitor lead times, perform administrative tasks and keep in touch with daily practice in the stores. Thanks to your accuracy and proactive attitude, everything runs smoothly and the team stays in control.

About you
You ...   

· Have good communication skills, both oral and written;  
· Are not afraid to speak your mind;  
· Can work both independently and as part of a team;  
· Are ambitious;  
· Are numerically minded and accurate. 

Do you bring the following to EQOM?   
We believe you will be successful in this role if you:  

· Have relevant work experience in a similar position;  
· Completed an Hbo or Mbo education in the direction of, for example, Commerce or Economics;  
· Have an excellent command of the Dutch or English language orally and in writing;  
· Are experienced in MS Office and have affinity with Excel. 

Important:
This position requires you to work at our Veendam office at least three days a week.
