"I am doing an internship with the ICT team at EDC Veendam. Within the first few days, you quickly notice that there is a very good and friendly atmosphere within the company.
A lot is done to make you feel at home - and you can always ask questions! The work itself is also very rewarding - you work in a small and close-knit team where you learn a lot of different tasks. Think of direct IT support to your colleagues, maintaining all the different systems and working on (big) new projects to improve the IT infrastructure. You will also be given the opportunity to spend a day in the warehouse to experience the logistical process for yourself. The flexible working hours that EDC uses for all this are also very nice, in my opinion.
In short, EDC is a very nice place to work. I'm looking forward to carrying out my work placement here in the coming weeks."
